Privacy Policy

PromptForge ("we," "us," "our") operates joinpromptforge.com. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it short because there isn't much to say.

What we collect

• Email address — only when you subscribe to our newsletter or download a free resource. Stored in our email service provider (Kit / ConvertKit).
• Analytics data — pages visited, referring source, device type, general location (country/region). We use Vercel Analytics, which is privacy-first and does not use cookies to track individuals across sites.
• Prompt Forge inputs — the text you enter into our on-site prompt generator is sent to an AI model provider to produce the improved prompt. We do not store your inputs on our servers after the response is returned.

What we do NOT collect

• We do not sell your data to anyone. Ever.
• We do not use advertising trackers or third-party ad networks.
• We do not require an account to use the free tools on this site.

Affiliate links and third-party sites

Some links on this site are affiliate links (see our affiliate disclosure). When you click one, the destination site (e.g. Rytr) may set its own cookies to attribute the referral. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not ours.

Cookies

We use minimal, essential cookies to make the site work (e.g. remembering you've dismissed a banner). We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. Our newsletter provider may set a cookie when you submit the subscribe form.

How we use your email

If you subscribe, we use your email to send you:

• The resource you requested (e.g. the 50-prompt starter pack)
• Occasional updates about new AI tools, prompt techniques, and PromptForge features

Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link. Unsubscribe and we remove your email from our active list within 48 hours.

Data retention

We keep your email until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained by Vercel for up to 90 days in aggregate form (not tied to your identity).

Your rights

You can request to see, export, or delete your email data at any time by writing to hello@joinpromptforge.com. We'll respond within 7 days.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes

If we materially change this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top and notify newsletter subscribers via email.
